Yes, as several of you have noticed, I am sick again. No, I am not terribly happy about it.
Yes, I do understand that I've been sick three times this semester, and even for a place that spreads contagions as well as this one that that is an unusual amount. I would also like to point out that I am not endemically sick: I've been generally very healthy the last three weeks. I gotten quite a few responses that went something like "What? Again?" or "You're sick all the time". Now maybe its that I don't remember those of you that are sympthetic. You can ignore my angry diatribe. But the rest of you, get a grip. I don't want to be thought of as someone that's sick all the time. It's a really negative impression, especially when it isn't true. If all the times you see me are when I'm sick, then obviously you don't see me very often. And maybe it's true that these times happen to be when I am sick. But please do not comment on it.
Why am I sick? Because I'm stressed out, and the stress never gets better. Maybe temporarily ignored, but not reduced. And this gives me something else to worry about, which is not what I need.
*Sigh* I don't know if this will actually help, but this response has got to stop. Not only do I find it offensive, but as an initial reaction to me, I assume that its an initial response to others as well. And this is not a good reaction to have in a friendship group: friends are people I want to be supportive, not insulting. Supporive actions and attitudes are what allows us to overcome our differences and work together to accomplish good things. So I'd like to see more of that.
