Seminar is over. We really just did a walking tour today, so everything was fine. Only advising and excursion left, both of which can't really go badly (except for very unlikely circumstances occurring). Well, more accurately, community service on Friday morning is one of the lamer ideas I've heard recently, and while in my particular case it probably beats seminar time, it means that it's not possible for the other FYIs to gel properly before the week ends. Oh well, not much I can do about it.
Auda gave all of the veteran OLs a Beloit college blanket, which none of us knew we were getting. It was a nice gift...there have beena lot of those from her this week.
Tonight shall be spent enjoying myself, with the caveat that I also attend Mike Green's lecture. Should be fine. |
