I went to Madison for a few days this week. It was fun hanging out, and I'm sorry I didn't make an effort to see too many people. I really didn't consider it enough time, and I understand most of you have "normal working schedules", or something.

Of course, it was rather galling to drive North and leave the snow behind(not that I like driving in snow, but living in it is preferable to it just being cold and dry all the time). It needs to snow up here already, damnit.

Now I'm back, and at work. I have a very busy weekend, with a lot of work, helping some of my gaming buddies move, and then actually gaming. And next weekend, I'm back at the good job. Exciting.

I've been doing quite a bit of thinking about things related to my position in life. I don't really think I've made any conclusions, and even if I have articulating them will be very difficult. I do know that having the crappy guard's job for a while actually helped with that. An unexpected benefit certainly, but not an unwelcome one.

I'm also glad that I will get the old job back because it does NOT have Christmas musak pervading it's workspace.

I'm writing this is the immediate aftermath of finishing the game. A lot of the emotions I had at the end, mostly anger, are going to dominate…

  • Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

I'm going to say a lot here, but it all boils down to one conclusion: fun, but forgettable. This game bills itself on being a epic fantasy RPG…

  • The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Apparently I have another post in me today. I'm as surprised as you are. Realizing I haven’t posted about Skyrim probably should not…
